About the role
In this exceptional opportunity, you'll engage in every development facet, integrating into our client's tight-knit team of adept software developers replacing a legacy system.
Responsibilities
- Working with and extending existing Web APIs, .NET
- Write clean, documented, scalable code using C#, TypeScript
- Participate in code reviews, problem solving, scoping and estimates
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Work with an understanding of UI/UX and the importance of functional users
Requirements
- 3-5 years minimum experience in a commercial software environment
- Back end: .NET 6.0 for Web API, Web Services, Console Applications, MVC design pattern, Entity Framework
- Front-End: Angular, modern front-end frameworks, PrimeNG, TypeScript, graphing libraries, SCSS/CSS, grid layouts
- Database: Microsoft SQL Server, database design, managing large datasets, Stored Procedures / LINQ, indexes, optimisation approaches
- UI/UX: Dashboard interfaces, web application interfaces, reporting, graphing
- Pipeline: GitActions, GitHub, Branches, Deployment, Windows Server admin
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to or understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Allan Bradley devices, Modbus protocols
- Exposure to mining industry, automation, process control networks
- Understanding of basic chemistry, use of Gas Chromatographs (GCs), or gas analysers
- Hangfire, SignalR, Windows Scheduled Tasks, Windows Services, CQRS
