At Kalibre we work with small to medium enterprises, large corporations, government entities, public safety organisations and telcos. As a Full StackSoftware Developer, you'll be an integral part of our dynamic development team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Kalibre Insight product.

The company is Australian based with a remote/hybrid model and this role based in Melbourne.

You're a perfect fit if you:

  • Possess exceptional software development skills (2 - 5 years experience) and a passion for crafting clean, efficient code in the following languages: C#, TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks (Vue preferred), Node.js, html/css/scss, SQL.
  • Experience with: .Net & Azure Devops 
  • Have demonstrated experience with real-time event-based architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and enhance existing codebases.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Have a knack for problem-solving and possess strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and programming languages relevant to the project.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Are passionate about continuous learning and improvement, eager to share your expertise with colleagues.

What you'll do:

  • Be part of a can-do problem-solving culture where the team always has each others backs. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate client needs into exceptional software solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring maintainability and scalability for the long term.
  • Identify and resolve software issues through meticulous testing and troubleshooting.
  • Partner with project coordinators and leads to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and collaborate on project estimations, including effort and timelines.
  • Communicate progress and challenges effectively to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Conduct peer reviews on code changes and manage outstanding tasks with stakeholder input.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including code comments and user guides.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, exploring new technologies, and proposing innovative solutions.
