R. Shrestha Pty Ltd. (ABN 22146643085) in Darwin is seeking to recruit a full-time Chef to work closely with the restaurant or duty managers. The potential candidate must be able to communicate effectively with fellow staff, obey directions, work cooperatively and show respect and understanding of others.
Salary range: $60,000 - $72,000
Duties and Responsibilities
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial Kitchen.
- Proof of appropriate culinary certification including a valid Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
- Understanding of all areas of hospitality business operations and Australian legislation, including financial knowledge.
- High standards of attention to detail and communication (written & verbal).
- Appropriate knowledge on how to organise menu offerings based on demographics, supplier data and stock.
- Ability to liaise with suppliers and comfortably control stock levels within the kitchen.
- Confidence in recruiting, training and developing ALL kitchen roles, ensuring to motivate and inspire success and growth within the workplace.
