We currently have two beautiful, smaller services located in Blackbutt and Flinders, and we have recently opened our third service in Shell Heights, within the Dunmore Estate since July 2023!
The Centre:
Junior Einsteins Nurturing Centre – Shell Heights is our newest service, opening since July 2023, focuses on creating an inclusive environment. This new state of the art centre is opened 52 weeks a year, catering for 125 children per day, aged 6 weeks – 6 years of age, from 6:30am – 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, closed on public holidays. Our new service consists of a 4-room centre, each with their own specially designed outdoor spaces with an additional 3 extra-curricular rooms to further extend upon children’s learning; our creative Art Studio, the Children's Library and the Kid's Kitchen/ Science Lab.
We believe the educators within a service are the foundations and fundamental components of a centre. We have the following positions able at our service:
- Assistant Director: Full Time ECT or Diploma Educator
- 0 - 2 Years Full Time Educator: Full Time ECT or Diploma Educator
- 3.5 - 6 Years Primary Educator: Full Time ECT or Diploma Educator
- Float Educator: Full Time Diploma or Certificate III Educator
- Trainee Educators: Full Time, willing to obtain Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
The successful candidates will be required to uphold strong communication and people skills to engage with families, as well as inspiring and motivating our team of highly qualified educators to create a powerful foundation for future successes in children’s learning within our service. The appointed persons will be required to work within a collaborative work environment and continue to build and foster the relationship existing between the centre, our families and community overall. As passionate educators who have a great understanding of the National Regulations and Law, NQF, EYLF and other relevant Early Childhood literature, the successful candidates will be committed to achieve positive outcomes for all children.
Essential Requirements:
- A Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Education, or working towards the above qualifications (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- NSW Working with Children's Check
- Relevant Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate along with Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate, or willing to complete.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Excellent computer literacy skills
- An excellent understanding of the NQF, EYLF, National Regulations & Law, WH&S
Desirable Requirements:
- An understanding of the programming and planning cycle for children’s learning.
- Experience working in a centre with your qualification.
