About the role:-
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Groundsman to join our Brand New Palm Lake Resort at Yamba Cove on a Full-Time permanent bases.
This role will ensure the outstanding presentation of our new resort is maintained at the highest standards with maintaining, weeding and watering common areas, hedge trimming, mowing & whipper snipping, planting, mulching and maintaining flowers and shrubs, and maintaining outside presentation of the overall facilities within the resort.
This is a Full-time position M-F roster - No weekends required.
Skills & Experience:-
- Hold a Cert II or III in horticulture;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a gardening & maintenance position;
- Experience with use and storing of herbicides safely;
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as push mower, hedge trimmers, whipper snippers and blowers;
- Physical ability to undertake the requirements of the role, including bending, lifting and carrying;
- "C" class drivers licence;
- Motivation, enthusiasm and a great attitude.
In addition, successful candidates must be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
