Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, reliable and be able to work some weekend shifts. Having an understanding of golf is an advantage.
What You'll Do: As a Golf Club Groundsman/Gardener, you will be an integral part of our dedicated team, responsible for:
- Course Maintenance: Mowing, trimming, and edging fairways, greens, and roughs to ensure pristine playing conditions.
- Horticultural Care: Planting, pruning, and maintaining a variety of trees, shrubs, and flowers to enhance the club’s natural beauty.
- Irrigation Management: Operating and maintaining irrigation systems to keep our grounds lush and healthy.
- Pest and Disease Control: Identifying and managing pests and diseases.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment and tools.
- Member Interaction: Providing exceptional service and assistance to our members, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Passion for Landscaping: A genuine love for plants, gardening, and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
- Experience: Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Team Player: Positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with a diverse team.
