Our client based in Keysborough are one of the biggest leading insulation companies that manufacture & supply the to the largest brands of insulation in Australia.
They currently have a role to for a permanent full-time Production Assistant / Medium Rigid Truck Driver to join their ever-growing team.
This role would be full-time Monday - Thursday between 6.00am to 4pm and Friday 6am - 1.30pm.
About the Role:
Working as a part of team, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare orders for delivery by carefully selecting and packing items to ensure safe transport.
- Safely operate either a automotic Medium Rigid Truck, 1 Tonne Tray Ute, 4.5 metre Truck or 8 Metre truck ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to designated locations around the South-East region
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries, and any discrepancies encountered - SAP, ERP or WMS experience would be desired
- Picking & Packing orders
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards when interacting with clients during deliveries.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Assist with loading the truck at the end of everyday for the following days delivery run
- Forklift Operations - to assist with loading & unloading the trucks occasionally
About you:
- Medium Rigid Truck License - this is essential
- LF Forklift License
- An understanding of the South-East Melbourne Metro locations
- SAP experience would be desirable
- Ability to read and interpret maps, as well as knowledge of road safety and procedures
- Have a strong knowledge of OHS procedures
- Able to work in both a team and autonomous environment
