Who we are: Nanyima Care is a stand-alone Not-for-Profit Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF), under the governance of dedicated volunteers from within our local community, who contribute to the planning, management, and growth of the facility. At the heart of our offering is a deep commitment to a resident first approach. The role: We are looking for Registered Nurses who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our facility based in Mirani, QLD.

What you will do
The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring:

• Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives
• Development and evaluation of individualised resident care plans
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers
• Clinical care including wound management, palliative care and medication management
• Liaison with medical and allied health care staff
• Provision of safe, high quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Positive resident experience through resident-first approach

Who are you and what will you bring?

• Registration with the AHPRA as a registered/enrolled nurse is essential
• Minimum 2 years experience in providing clinical care within Aged Care ONLY - MANDATORY
• Current Drivers License - MANDATORY
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Hold and maintain NDIS Worker Checks as per NDIS Act 2013 (or willing to obtain)
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to care.

• Employment type: Permanent- Full Time contract
• Hours: Full-time - 76 hours per fortnight
