SalaryImpact Traffic and Transport Engineering Pty Ltd Full Time Traffic and Transport Engineer Melbourne VIC 3000 SALARY $72,000 - $80,000 + SUPERANNUATION DUTIES:
- Assist with preparation of project fee proposals and scope of works.
- Liaise with project teams, councils and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for completion of technical tasks in a timely manner.
- Monitor resources, budgets and deadlines.
- Prepare complex traffic engineering and transport planning reports, including expert witness reports as required.
- Prepare complex traffic management plans for construction, events, and land use planning purposes as required.
- Assist with the training and professional development of staff.
- Develop and grow client relationships, target repeat work and brand building activities.
- Assist with achieving the company’s overall corporate objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or suitable related discipline, or equivalent.
- 2 years Full-time industry experience.
- Solid understanding of traffic engineering principles, transportation planning concepts, and relevant regulations and standards.
- Experience in MS Office applications, including intermediate skills in Word and Excel.
- Experience in industry-specific softwares, i.e. MicroStation, AutoTURN, GuideSIGN and SIDRA.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical skills.
Experience required: - Experience in construction traffic management.
- Experience in safety barrier systems installation.
