Function Officer (Multiple Casual Positions)

About the role
Council's Arts & Culture Department is looking for casual Functions Officers who will be responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service at the Frankston Arts Centre and Frankston Civic Centre.
The main responsibilities will include:

• Providing Hospitality Support through the delivery of catering services the service of food and beverage;
• Undertaking bar service and waiting duties at Events; and
• Setting up catering requirements for the Function and Events within the Frankston Arts Centre & Council Chamber.

This will be a casual position.

About you
As the successful candidate, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, working in large fast-paced function centres;
• Availability to work weekends;
• Bar and barista experience is desirable;
• Good understanding of event catering;
• Excellent customer service skills, communication and writing skills;
• The ability to stay composed in difficult situations; and
• Current RSA.

This position is a Band 2 currently remunerated between $40.11 to $41.23 per hour, plus superannuation.
