The Fundraising and Marketing All Rounder will play a pivotal role in advancing our cause of empowering at-risk youth across Australia.
Working alongside the General Manager, Fundraising & Marketing, you will support the implementation and coordination of campaigns vital for recruiting, retaining, and engaging financial supporters.
You will drive our social media and marketing efforts with precision and passion. Your creative prowess will shape compelling narratives that resonate with our audience, driving donor loyalty and engagement. By harnessing the power of social media and marketing, you will elevate our presence, amplify our message, and ultimately empower at-risk youth to reclaim their futures with confidence and resilience.

About Youth Insearch
Youth Insearch is Australia’s most effective peer-led youth trauma recovery organisation. Since 1985, Youth Insearch has performed a key role in facilitating vital peer- to-peer engagement and connection through support groups and workshops. The Youth Insearch peer-to-peer program equips participants with skills and opportunities to develop their self-esteem, take control of their lives, and play a contributing role in society.
The Youth Insearch Program
The Youth Insearch program is designed to empower young people to overcome their challenges and to heal from trauma. The program is delivered with youth, supported by expert adults. The program comprises modules centred around individual support, weekend workshops, and weekly support groups. Our programs are peer-led and delivered by young leaders with lived experience, who have been through the Youth Insearch program and completed our 12-month leadership program.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the General Manager, Fundraising & Marketing to implement annual giving, workplace giving, and community fundraising campaigns across various channels, with a special focus on digital platforms and social media.
- Assist in end-to-end campaign planning, coordination, and administration, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget, with a particular emphasis on leveraging social media channels effectively.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop compelling stories and messaging that drive donor loyalty and engagement, tailoring content for optimal impact on social media platforms.
- Utilise data and analytics insights to optimise donor communications and acquisition strategies, leveraging social media analytics to refine and enhance campaign performance.
- Support community fundraising initiatives, including maintaining accurate records in Salesforce NPSP, processing donations, and routine donor communications, with an emphasis on integrating social media into fundraising efforts and engagement strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the General Manager to:
- Maintain the Foundations brand across all platforms and act as the brand custodian.
- Help develop marketing campaigns for various events and programs.
- Help develop marketing collateral including brochures, social media, Impact Reports, etc
- Assist in coordinating email campaigns
- Review and update donor information within CRM systems (Salesforce NPSP preferred).
- Develop social media posts and newsletters
- Track and report analytics
- Assist and manage website updates
- Donor management and relationship building
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge and experience in fundraising campaigns, preferably in community fundraising, regular giving, events, or appeals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ability to learn databases and CRM systems (Salesforce NPSP preferred).
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
