What you'll doLead a team of Team Leaders, providing support and guidance to enable the frontline leaders to be effective.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility to ensure the work is picked as per schedule and the work is completed by the end of each shift.
- Ensure that the operations leadership team have clear and consistent operational discipline and that systems and processes used on site are compliant with Primary Connect expectations.
- Ensure all Operational processes are followed in the key areas of safety, service, people and value to create a world class supply chain that is described as the best and safest place to work.
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure that the site is able to deliver what the stores need and to deliver results for DIFOTEF to the stores in the most efficient way.
- Prepare budgets and control costs for area of responsibility.
What you'll bringUtilise your excellent understanding & experience in DC operations, to support with planning, prioritisation and problem-solving on-site; in detail, we are looking for:
- Strong people leadership capabilities and demonstrates genuine care and respect for people
- Positivity, motivation and passion about supporting the team in driving continual improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Approachable and available demeanour, ability to provide guidance, support and feedback
