Connecting2Australia (C2A) is currently seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our Brunswick Work Connections team. The Role:
This role is a hands-on position that requires you to work alongside employees with disability and to assist the team to meet individual goals as well as production targets. You will complete work in furniture manufacturing and be responsible for supervising the use of machinery, tools and equipment.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Ensuring that efficient and quality work is carried out whilst ensuring employees’ and business satisfaction
- Planning and directing daily production activities to ensure that operations are carried out in a safe, efficient, effective manner and meet the organisation’s requirements
- Reading cut sheets
- Simple jigging
- Working with solid timber
- Assembling freestanding furniture
- Providing employees with disability, training, support and resources they require to efficiently complete their tasks in a safe environment in compliance with NDIS, Disability Service Standards, Workplace Health and Safety legislation and other relevant requirements.

- Able to read drawings
- Computer literate
- Forklift license (desirable)
It is essential that you hold or are willing to obtain:
- NDIS Screening Check.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Preferred but not essential experience in the Disability Sector;
- Timber/furniture/cabinet making experience.
