The role:
We are currently seeking a customer-focussed Furniture Removalist. This is a varied role where no two days are the same! Working closely with the Styling Team, this position is crucial to the seamless, efficient delivery and installation of furniture and decorative items within our clients’ properties.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivery and pick-up (including loading & unloading) of furniture and furnishings to/from Client properties
- Receiving deliveries and assembling furniture
- Assist the styling team with the installation process
- Ensure the warehouse is well maintained including general housekeeping
- Maintain the condition and quality of inventory during transit
- Maintain the condition of the properties during loading & unloading
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous Furniture Removalist experience
- Own transport
- Distribution experience in either furniture hire, or event management/exhibitions.
- To be a team-player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Mature minded with the ability to work unsupervised
- A good level of physical fitness with knowledge of safe manual handling practices
- Valid Driver’s License
- MUST have current right to work in Australia.
