UNSW College is a not-for-profit, wholly owned enterprise of UNSW Sydney and is looking for a Future Students Officer to join our dynamic Student Recruitment team.
The Future Students Officer will assist in the promotion of UNSW College programs to prospective students; their parents; education representatives and other stakeholders in the Australia Onshore International market. You will also be expected to support the Regional Manager, Australia Onshore International, in order to achieve the student recruitment target for UNSW College programs in market.
In this you will develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including Future Students, their parents and guardians; key agent partners; and UNSW Sydney, as well as internal stakeholders including Admissions, Marketing and Communications staff amongst others.
The role requires high level interpersonal and administrative skills to deliver on key responsibilities.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Comply with and promote agreed WHS practices, privacy provisions, agreed codes, policies and procedures, and conduct work in a respectful, safe and efficient manner
- Work collaboratively within the business group and across the organisation to promote effective communication and information sharing
- Develop and manage effective relationships to ensure that students, education representatives, key business partners and other key stakeholders are aware of the full range of products and services offered by UNSW College.
- Represent UNSW College in a professional way that reflects the mission and values of a leading education brand.
The successful applicant will have:
- Understanding of Higher Education environments and study options.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. education, social work, welfare) or relevant experience in a Higher Education setting.
- Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels and work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent organisation skills, paying close attention to detail.
Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia language skills will be highly regarded
