Job description

At SavySoda we develop the latest simulation and strategy games for mobile, VR and PC. We
are looking for a passionate and skilled Game Developer to work on upcoming project
development. You will be working closely with a group of talented designers, developers and
artists to create the best strategy and simulation games.
You should have experience working on Unity Games and a portfolio of projects available for
demonstration.
Key Responsibilities:
 Work with art and developing teams to understand the design concept, create and
implement game features to a project schedule.
 Write efficient computer code or script to make the various features work, ensuring that
sound, graphics, animations and timings work as intended.
 Working on various projects, develop digital animations, imaging, games, audio and video
clips using multimedia software, tools, and utilities, interactive graphics, and programming
languages.
 Communicate with art and developing teams to design innovative game elements and
optimize quality for better player experiences.
 Produce game extensions, make updates that introduce new levels and characters, and add
gameplay functionality.
 Continuously handle new feature requests and make improvements to the game.
 Use debugging techniques to identify issues with computer code and resolve errors.
 Optimize game performance and loading times for PC and mobile platforms to enhance the
user experience.
 Maintain and troubleshoot game performance and system issues to enhance performance.
 Provide ongoing technical support and work on upgrades to the game.
 Assist in analysing, specifying and developing strategies, methodologies and development
plans.
 Stay up to date with new technologies and architectures.
To be eligible you must have:
 Bachelor degree or higher qualification in a relevant information technology field.
 Prior minimum three years experience as Game Developer.
 Strong technical ability, in particular familiarisation with a range of programming languages
and/or software packages.
 A creative and innovative approach to solving complex technical problems.
 Excellent communication and organisational skills.
 Enthusiasm for and knowledge of the games industry.
