The CompanyOur client is looking for an experienced Gaming Supervisors and Duty Managers to join their dynamic team in Melton. This venue has a brilliant Harness Racing track, dining facilities, extensive function and event spaces, a sports bar, a gaming lounge and even a 4-star hotel on site. This entertainment complex prides themselves in giving their customers an unforgettable experience and the ability to cater to all their needs. This venue is open 7 days a week and the perfect candidate needs to be able to thrive in a busy hospitality environment.
The Role
As a Supervisor/Duty Manager you will be a part of a brilliant team. You'll support the senior management team with the day-to-day operations of this premium racing and entertainment venue. Your focus ensuring your team are executing a high level of customer service. To be successful, you will need to enjoy working a part of a large and dynamic team. You'll need to have the ability to work a rotating roster, which includes days, nights, weekends and all major events. This client takes pride in providing its employees a positive work culture in which they can thrive. You will be responsible for the following:
- Cash & Expenditure Control
- Process and procedure
- Stock Control
- Staff Management & Rostering
- Demonstrate customer service standards
- Assist with day to day operations
- Adhering to OHS practises
What you'll need to bring to this role
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role (preferably within a complex entertainment venue)
- Must have a valid RSA, RSG, Gaming License, Food Handlers, Drivers license, First Aid and TAB Accreditation
- Excellent cash handling and understanding of compliance
- Strong ability to manage and implement process and procedure
- Ability to confidently lead a team and support a senior leadership team
- Strong administration and IT skills
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and energetic
- Bright personality - you're not afraid to be yourself
- Integrity, you have pride in everything you do
- Current drivers licence
