We are Australasia’s largest mattress and foam manufacturer, employing over 1,000 people across Australia and New Zealand.

The opportunity

You will play a key role in analysing market trends, pricing strategies, and financial performance to support decision making processes and drive business success. As well as:

•  Analysis and interpretation of divisional results 
• Preparation and explanation of budgets and forecasts 
• P&L preparation for delivery to the business 
• Standard cost determination and analysis 
• Capex request support 
• Weekly, Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on
  key business metrics 
• Monthly meetings held with State Managers to explain
  variances, understand trends and put in place corrective plans or controls 
• Customer and product sales and margin analysis and
  reporting 
• Create, build and implement new reports as required
  by key stakeholders 
• Work collaboratively with Product Development and
  Supply Chain on new product and lifecycle management 
• Ad-hoc analysis to support Management in business decisions involving financial modelling and reporting and ofter recommendations  

About You

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a successful Commercial Analyst within the Retail, Transport or Manufacturing industries, as well as:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting & Finance or CA/CPA certifications
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools. Experience with SAP and Power BI is desirable
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and levels of the organisation
