Position: Full-time Gardener/Horticulturist/Handyman
Are you passionate about transforming landscapes, cultivating lush gardens, and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to enhance and run private acreage property in Tallebudgera. As we prepare to undertake an extensive renovation on our 12.5-acre property, we are looking for someone with a green thumb and a knack for hands-on tasks to take on the role of Gardener/Horticulturist/Handyman.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake sporadic clearing and landscaping tasks as part of the property renovation.
- Install new gardens according to landscape designs, while also contributing creative input and ideas.
- Design and implement an extensive vegetable garden, from planning to on going maintenance.
- Maintain lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces to ensure they remain vibrant and well-kept.
- Perform grounds maintenance at the owner's other properties as needed.
- Basic care for animals on the property, including feeding and basic upkeep.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, landscaping, or related fields.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Creativity and an eye for design, with the ability to contribute to garden layouts and aesthetics.
- Basic knowledge and experience with animal care preferred.
- Reliable and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with onsite trades.
