Gardener/Team leader

Gardening Team leader required.

We are looking for a motivated and fit team leader to undertake day-to-day gardening operations in Canberra. We have been in business since 2013 maintaining A and B grade strata unit sites’ gardens and the owner needs to partially move off the tools to manage business operations, growth and training.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated and have strong team leading experience as well as a minimum of 2 years’ gardening experience.

Responsibility of the role include.

• Time management
• Motivation and team building
• Assisting with future recruitment 
• Understanding of OH&S and safe work practices 
• Managing a small team 

Duties include.

• Gardening duties operating handheld and powered machinery, truck and trailer, ride on mowers
• Plant pest and disease identification including treatment.
• Mowing of irrigated and dryland common grass
• Irrigation maintenance and adjusting controllers.
• Other duties related to gardening operations.
