About the Role
Based at our Perth office, the Gas Asset Maintenance Team Leader will lead a team of planners, schedulers, campaign, and specialist staff to implement and deliver the maintenance program that is in line with Santos values and overall business objectives.
Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values and Santos Management System (SMS). Key responsibilities of the role include:
Lead and manage a team of planners, schedulers, campaign event leads and engineers/specialists to implement the direction, vision and role accountabilities.
Provide performance feedback, coaching & mentoring and ensure team development to optimise performance and commitment of leaders and employees.
Drive process improvements and transform team approaches to optimise team performance and deliverables.
Maintain a close working relationship with internal stakeholder teams – operations, production planning, production engineering, reliability and integrity engineering personnel to achieve production and maintenance goals.
Budget development and reporting for Maintenance OPEX.
Accountable for the conversion of engineering strategies into deliverables to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution in the field.
Ensure availability and accuracy of Long Range (3yr) > Execution (6 week) maintenance programs.
Support campaigns from pre-planning phase through to execution to achieve cost effective, on time completion of campaign events.
Influence reliability and integrity maintenance programs to meet the objectives of campaign-based delivery (alignment by area, resource, or service provision on the premise of maximizing efficiency and minimising downtime).
Utilise core KPIs to analyze maintenance performance and identify areas of process weakness and delivery improvement opportunity.
Stewardship of Safety Critical Maintenance delivery.
Drive change into CMMS Master Data as required.
Manage Return to Plan (RTP) events utilizing specialist technical support within team and engaging external teams and contractors where necessary.
Ensure compliance to Santos Management Systems, Operational Excellence standards and Procedures.
About You
We are seeking for experienced professionals with the following competencies:
Relevant degree qualifications or similar with a history of experience in training is preferred
Exposure working in a large corporate environment and in maintenance operations within hydrocarbon facilities
Experience in managing and leading teams of professionals and/or individual contributors
Strong knowledge of CMMS, integrated planning & scheduling systems; preferably SAP and Primavera experience
Good understanding of maintenance, production operations and reliability processes related to asset management practices
Strong leadership in maintenance and safety management
Flexible, adaptable and resilient in meeting business demands
