AddressCarlton North apartment - .... (NOTE: the only gas appliance to the apartment is the cooker. The heater & hot water are electric). I am in the unfortunate position - I paid a gas plumber $345 for a gas check and he came back to me saying
I needed to pay 6.5k to change the gas pipes to copper. This plumber has marked the gas check non-compliant. I have asked for the reading and asked an honest plumber to advise....
and he said that the readings would be considered COMPLIANT and should have passed. So now I have 2 choices, pay somebody else for a gas check or just cap off the gas and change the cooker for an Electric one.
I have a non-compliant report for a compliant gas reading which should have passed. GAS PLUMBERS - please quote on capping off the gas with a fair & honest quote. THANK YOU
