The Facility
Join a leading Tertiary level 3 Teaching Hospital with nearly 400 beds and a dedicated team of around 1,700 staff members. The hospital serves a diverse population of 200,000, encompassing urban communities, regional hospitals, and remote Aboriginal areas. Affiliated with Flinders University, the facility includes an onsite Medical School and is accredited by ACEM as a major referral center for two years of advanced emergency training. The Position
Our client presents an outstanding opportunity for a Gastroenterologist to become a valued member of their team on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for individuals who hold registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Gastroenterologist. Alternatively, General Physicians with substantial experience and a keen interest in gastroenterology are also encouraged to apply.
In this role, you will have the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, participating in the development of treatment plans, and contributing to ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives. This position also offers opportunities for professional development and advancement within a supportive and innovative healthcare environment.

The Requirements:

  • Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Endocrinology
  • On RACP training program
  • Hold the FRACP
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's with RACP interview date
  • IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable
