Salary- Regional referral Level 5 base hospital with state-of-the-art operating theatre suite, ICU/CCU, imaging, Cardiac Cath Lab and most major specialties and subspecialties. The Emergency Department is a comprehensive level 5 Emergency Department and is the designated Trauma Centre for Northern NSW with on-site roof top helipad as part of our Retrieval Service.
- Will provide accommodation if available, hire car and reimburse reasonable travel.
- The Specialist will be rostered on call for the full period - (weekdays and weekends - 0800hours to 0800hours for each rostered on call) and will be supported by a Junior team
A Northern NSW hospital requires a Specialist in Internal Medicine from 22/03/2024 to 02/08/2024.
SHIFTS:
The Specialist will be required to work with the team Monday to Friday each week and provide an On-Call Service as rostered for the duration of the contract, attend any clinics and emergencies as required and provide daily ward rounds. Supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers is also a requirement.
Shift times are 0800 - 1700hours with after hours on call 1700hours - 0800hours

1600hours Wednesday 27th March 2024 until 0800hours Friday 29th March 2024
0800hours Friday 3rd May 2024 until 0900hours Monday 6th May 2024
1600hours Wednesday 8th May 2024 until 0800hours Friday 10th May 2024
0800hours Friday 14th June 2024 until 0900hours Monday 17th June 2024
1600hours Wednesday 19th June 2024 until 0800hours Friday 21st June 2024
0800hours Friday 26th July 2024 until 0900hours Monday 29th July 2024
1600hours Wednesday 31st July 2024 until 0800hours Friday 2nd August 2024
