Staff Specialist in Paediatric Gastroenterology

Permanent Part Time 0.6 FTE
John Hunter Children’s Hospital, located in Newcastle, NSW, is seeking a suitably qualified Paediatric Gastroenterology consultant to provide specialist clinical care in gastroenterology, hepatology, complex nutrition and gastrointestinal endoscopy to infants, children and adolescents across the local health district and other parts of Northern NSW.
Applicants will:
- Be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Paediatric Gastroenterology and/or overseas trained specialist pathways
- Be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics) or assessed by the RACP as being substantially comparable in Paediatric Gastroenterology
- Have current certification (or close to meeting the requirements) by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy in Paediatric Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy
