We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Gatehouse Security Officers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and controlling access to our clients' premises through gatehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and security breaches.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals entering the premises.
- Maintain accurate records of visitors and activities on the premises.
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to appropriate authorities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or relevant position.
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and keen observation skills.
- Current Queensland Security Licence.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Current MSIC card or the ability to apply for.
- Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft suite.
