Minimum requirements a successful candidate will possess are:
- Live in Brisbane CBD or Surrounds & GC
- Able to travel to Brisbane and Surrounding suburbs
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Valid Security License & First Aid Certificate
- Able to remain calm under pressure and communicate effectively
- Ability to work with Nexar Group 10+ hours per week ongoing. We are not looking for casual employees.
- Ability to work across 5 to 7 days per week shift lengths of min 4hrs - max 12hrs
- Ability to work across shopping centres and retail stores
Multiple Roles and Positions available - Gatehouse/Corporate/Retail Security roles
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Ability to support Nexar Group with 20+ hours per week across 4 to 7 day roster.
- Will be good with Customers and Clients
- Liaising with police and emergency response services when necessary
- Be able to verbally de-escalate any situation
- Risk identification and issue resolution
- Adaptable to any situations that arise
- Be able to deter theft and report missing assets
- Work autonomously and in a group
You will have:
- Previous experience in Airport screening or similar roles.
- Good customer and client service skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Reporting ability to supervisor
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a collaborative way.
- Demonstrated ability to apply ethical standards to decisions made on a day to day basis.
- Physical capacity to perform the duties of the position including patrolling, responding and restraining persons.
- Current First Aid certificate
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills a must.
Minimum requirements a successful candidate will possess are:
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Valid Security License & First Aid Certificate
- Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia
- Ability to work days and/or nights
- ASIC Clearance (RED ASIC)
