Your new company
As an experienced Architect, you will work with a large and well-known Department that is responsible for foreign policy and relations, international aid, consular services and trade and investment. As part of this, you will support the day-to-day operations of their global network and gateways. This department is centrally located in the heart of Canberra, and offers hybrid and flexible ways of working.
Your new role
In this role, you will:
- Develop high-level and detailed gateway designs
- Assist with the operations of a global system
- Provide technical contributions to both network and gateway technologies, including (but not limited to) Juniper, Cisco, Trend Micro, F5, Clearswift and Fortigate.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum five years relevant experience demonstrating strong gateway engineering and technical skills and knowledge.
- Ability to articulate technical detail through design and implementation plans.
- A broad understanding of industry, whole of government direction, emerging technologies and how they can be applied to solve business problems.
- A strong understanding of ASD Essential 8 and experience with contributing to security accreditation of ICT systems.
