General Accountant/ Bookkeeper

About the role

We are looking for a vibrant, professionally presented individual with warm and excellent accounting skills. You must have the ability to work in a team environment with sound communication, interpersonal skills and excellent time management skills. 

As Graduate Accountant your main duties will be:

• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Payroll
• Bank and other reconciliations
• Regulatory compliance and lodgements
• Financial reporting and preparation of management accounts
• The role will also include administration applicable to accounting practice, such as filing, document maintenance and customer records.
• Other reasonable duties as requested by the management.

Qualification required for this role:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting
• National Police Clearance
• Completed Xero online certification.
• Ability to develop sound client relationships.
• Concern for quality & standards.
• Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Driver’s license and access to own vehicle
• A high level of professional written and oral communication skills is critical.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Relevant work rights
