- Assist in preparing budgets for the business unit, its individual functions, and projects.
- Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to management, highlighting variances and suggesting corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing financial reports consisting of balance sheet, profit and loss statements, undertaking audits or investigations.
- Ensure the accuracy of information in financial reports to comply with regulations, legislations and other requirements
- Control costs, income and expenses associated with production, operations, and projects and maintain and improve the required tools and IT systems (Ostendo).
- Liaising with external auditors.
- Establish, maintain, and report via KPIs on effective controls for your area of responsibility.
- Proactively identify process improvements and new initiatives that can benefit the department and company.
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register, accounting systems.
- Preparing export documentation and letters of credit.
- A bachelor degree or higher qualification, preferably in accounting.
- Two to three years’ experience in similar role.

- Annual base salary from $70,000 to $80,000 plus super for successful candidate.
