• Conduct all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of Heavy Vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics and fabrications;
• Installations and commissioning of mechanical/ hydraulic components and systems;
• Carry out non-routine repairs as necessary;
• Ensuring the fleet is maintained to, and in compliance with Fleet Management Standards, with an emphasis on safety;
• Supervise and give direction to Apprentices as required;
• Onsite checks and breakdowns.

• Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent;
• Current NSW Trade Licence;
• Ability to diagnose and repair defects;
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment;
• Minimum Class C drivers Licence;
• Willing to obtain a HR Licence.
