As part of our team, you'll contribute to a variety of projects, from residential builds to commercial developments, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist with construction tasks under the direction of the site supervisor and Skilled tradespeople.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Perform site preparation and clean-up, including removing debris and materials.
Load and unload construction materials and move them to work areas.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Skilled labourers will additionally perform tasks requiring special skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or masonry work, depending on their expertise.
Requirements:
- Skilled labourers must have at least 2 years of experience in their specific trade.
- Ability to perform physical labour and lift heavy objects.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Any relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
