ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the TAFE NSW Class Support team as a General Assistant/Toolstoreperson supporting our Manufacturing/Engineering Section. This is a temporary part-time part-year opportunity, 24 hours per week for 36 weeks per year, located at TAFE NSW Mudgee Campus.
ABOUT YOU
Working in a supportive environment, you will play a vital role in assisting with the delivery of educational programs. Your experience in a trade environment and well-developed knowledge of tools and equipment will be key in this role. Your initiative to identify and organise resources required by students and staff will deliver service excellence. You will enjoy working in a performance-driven team with strong values and integrity.
ESSENTIAL RTEQUIERMENTS * Demonstrated experience working within a trade environment or related work areas.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of purchasing within a trade environment.
- Demonstrated experience in inventory and stock control including store layout and maintenance of stores records.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member or with limited supervision.
- Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and maintaining different tools in a workshop setting
- Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies, in particular Excel, Microsoft word and Outlook

As we are coming into the holiday season, it is anticipated the successful applicant would be commencing in January 2023, with interviews taking place week of 19th December 2022 via Microsoft Teams.
