General Hand / Detailer (Motorcycles)

Fraser Motorcycles, Newcastle’s home of Prestige Motorcycle brands, Harley-Davidson, Ducati and Honda have an immediate opportunity for a General Hand/Detailer.

This is full-time permanent role are based at our new state of art Motorcycle Dealership in Mayfield West.  

 This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable enthusiastic and focused General Hand/Detailer. with an eye for detail and a passion for Motorcycles to start their career with an employer of choice.

This role plays an important part in provided a high-quality service to our customers preparing and ensuring all motorcycles are washed/polished/detailed and immaculately presented to customers & for the sales showrooms in a prompt and timely manner.

You will also assist the Sales, Service and Parts Team in a range of other duties learning all about the daily operations of a busy Motorcycle Dealership.

General Daily Duties includes:

• Ensuring all motorcycles are washed, polished & detailed in a prompt manner to the highest standards. 
• Assisting Sales, Service and Parts departments with duties from Goods in, parts picking, assisting with the pre-delivery of motorcycles.
• Unload/Uncrate and checking new Motorcycles on arrival.
• General warehouse duties, checking goods in & dispatching goods out.
• Forklift driving, offloading of crated motorcycles. 
• Van driving, making local deliveries & collections of parts/motorcycles.
• General housekeeping duties all around the dealership.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the Motorcycle washing/detailing area.
• Various other duties assisting Dealership management team.

Skills & Experience we are looking for:

• Previous General Hand - Detailing experience is high desirable.
• Vibrant, outgoing with a Can-Do attitude.
• Ability to undertake daily manual handling tasks.
• A Team player, punctual and reliable with good communication skills.
• Forklift licence (LF) essential.
• Car driving licence.
• Strong work ethic & attention to detail.
• Take pride & ownership in all work duties. 
• Ability to follow direction and work to time schedules.
• Ability to be proactive, work unsupervised and use own initiative.
• A passion for Motorcycles and a desire to develop a long term career.
• Fluent written & spoken English (Full AUS work rights) 
• Current Motorcycle License advantageous.
