SalaryFindstaff/ Stockdale are currently seeking multiple Machine operators& Assistants to join our team on an ongoing basis. Our client is based in Western Sydney located in the Penrith area and are a well know supplier in the packaging area of print.
We are looking for motivated, reliable people who are keen to learn and looking for long term employment, with company who are happy to invest time and resources giving you every opportunity to succeed in the role, they genuinely value and really look after their staff.
This is the chance to build a career within print from the ground up gaining experience across multiple facets of the corrugated and packaging sector of print including print, finishing, logistics, die cutting, die setting and many other areas.
Day to day duties:
- Assisting Machine operators in the running and maintaining of presses and die cutters.
- This opportunity requires manual handling and loading of stock.
- Setting up or assisting in the setup and make-ready process.
- Monitoring of stock and consumables.
- Use of pallet jacks and forklift.
- Monitoring and packing finished products into the correct boxes/areas for shipping.
- Opportunity to train on multiple machines and move up pay grades once signed off.
- Must be physically fit (you will be on your feet all shift)
- This position will commence on day shift with the option of transitioning to evening/ afternoon shift.
