General Manager

What are we looking for?

The original Blackshaw Real Estate agency, Blackshaw Manuka, are looking for a General Manager to join the leadership team. This is a brand-new position working closely with our Managing Director.

The role

The General Manager is responsible for the overall businesses performance, Including operations, finance, customer service, human resources and other business functions.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the heads of department to ensure a smooth operation and healthy business practices across sales, operations, and property management.

Driving exceptional business performance will require a strong focus on quality communication, systems and teamwork and it is expected that this role will lead the delivery of the company's results.

The successful candidate should have the following:

• Experience managing multi departmental operations.
• Demonstrated leadership with vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
• Diversified background in a variety of settings requiring strong organisational, investigational, and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on operations, human resource management and systems.
• Skilled in designing, implementing & monitoring programs to enhance productivity, profitability & client experience.
• Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organisation, persuasive with details and facts.
• Ability to delegate effectively.
• High comfort level working in a diverse environment.
• Ability to manage workflow, time & priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Responsible attitude to all aspects of the role.
• Will need to hold or be working towards real estate licence class Registration> Class 2> Class 1
