Your opportunity to join us at North Ryde.

You will be responsible for your division’s contribution to the year-on-year EBITDA targets by developing and executing against strategies aligned with the overall sales strategy and to deliver the organisational growth strategy.

As the General Manager, you must play an instrumental role in enabling and engaging your team to be the best they can be. You are responsible for the volume and profitability targets via the creation and execution of business plans and strategies.

Working mainly from our North Ryde Head Office, you will be part of a culture that is open, inclusive, friendly and where collaboration, knowledge-sharing and diversity is supported.

Responsibilities include:

  • Financial management – to ensure budgets are reached and ensure trade spend is managed to maximise promotional effectiveness
  • Forecasting Accuracy – ensure process and audience is established and collaboration is achieved with key stakeholders to ensure visibility and predictability of volume
  • Collaborate with cross functional team members effectively to deliver on committed projects
  • Contribution to the senior leadership team to ensure that knowledge and subject matter expertise is extend and shared with internal stake holders.
  • Relationship Management – foster relationships at all levels of customer through the establishment of a strong customer matrix and ensure connectivity across all levels.
  • Manage and develop overall customer relationship to drive improved performance for both businesses
  • Provide sales direction, support and information to both the customer and corporate support teams
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting versus plan. Present quarterly and annual business reviews to the customer and management
  • Hold overall responsibility for the business relationship and involvement in developing and executing the Ingham’s sales strategy
  • Lead a team of National Business Managers and Account Executives to help deliver the business strategy
  • Responsible for delivering budgeted volume, revenue and GM targets
  • Perform regular analysis of customer and sales trends to identify leading opportunities and gaps to address

  • Proven ability to influence internal and external senior stakeholders
  • Passionate about developing others in your team, monitoring and measuring performance and providing direct feedback
  • Superior communication and presentation skills and a highly developed sense of political awareness.
