About the Role:
A terrific opportunity is available for a general Maths teacher to join a Secondary School in Melton in Term 1, 2024. Instructing students in years 7-10 in General Maths, join this co-educational school which caters to approximately 1500 students spanning from years 7-12, welcoming of both seasoned educators and recent graduates.
Key duties:
- Collaborate within a supportive Maths faculty, teaching students in years 7-10
- Create and formulate comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum materials adhering to Australian curriculum standards in Mathematics
- Conduct dynamic and impactful classroom instruction, cultivating a positive and enriching learning atmosphere
- Demonstrate a dedication to ongoing professional development and growth
- Embrace the educational philosophy of the school, with an understanding that adherence to the Islamic faith is not mandatory, and there are no strict dress requirements.
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching General Maths
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
