The Hospital:
This is a 165 bed (level 1) Tertiary Teaching Hospital that provides a range of Acute Services including Emergency, Maternity, Intensive Care, General Medicine and Surgery, Medical Imaging, Pathology, Dialysis, Mental Health (Inpatient and community services) and a range of Ambulatory Services. The Hospital is affiliated with Universities for the provision of undergraduate and postgraduate Medical, Nursing and Allied Health education. Affiliations also exist for clinical placement and training.
The Role:
The hospital is looking for an experienced General Physician to lead the Team and Department. It is a fully accredited hospital for RACP training.
You will provide exceptional leadership within a multi-disciplinary team of medical officers and other team members as well as providing supervision and support to doctors in training. Also ensure that care is patient-centred, safe and demonstrates a standard of excellence.
This position will be involved in the training and supervision of medical and nursing staff as required.
Affiliation with two medical universities.
Your Profile:
To be suitable for this role you will need to hold the FRACP have Specialist registration with AHPRA or be eligible for
RACP assessed doctors
NZ FRACP or SMO willing to be RACP assessed
