General Practice Solicitor

We are a Northside law firm looking for a General Practice Lawyer for a 3-5 day week

Task/Responsibilities

You will have your own files and manage your work in a variety of matters, including

• Criminal  
• Family
• Wills & Estates
• Commercial/Civil

Qualifications/Experience: 

• Enthusiastic and motivated solicitor with a mature outlook on life
• Comfortable with running their own files and showing initiative.
• Ideally have 2-3 year post-admission experience;
• Supportive and empathetic communication style;
• A current Queensland Practising Certificate is advantageous
• Hold a current driver's licence;
  • Experience with LEAP Legal Software and Legal Aid Queensland is ideal;
• Excellent attention to detail in both the written and spoken word;
• The proven ability to provide high-quality legal advice under strict deadlines;
• A solutions-based outlook is required for your approach to work ethic/productivity and advocacy/advice;
• Ability and working knowledge for time record/billable hours; and
• The ability to confidently appear before the Magistrates, District/Supreme, Domestic Violence and Family Courts.
