Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the operations of this rapidly growing practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in a similar role within a General Practice (GP) setting. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations, providing leadership to staff, and maintaining high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the practice to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Manage and support administrative and clinical staff, including rostering, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate patient appointments and ensure excellent patient care and customer service.
- Handle financial management tasks such as billing, accounts receivable, and budget monitoring.
- Maintain and update practice policies and procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Develop and implement practice improvement plans to enhance productivity and patient satisfaction.
- Manage the practice’s electronic medical records system and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and healthcare providers.
- Ensure the practice environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for patients and staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Practice Manager in a GP setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using practice management software and electronic medical records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available to work at least 3 days a week.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Financial management experience is highly desirable.
