About the Position
This unique GP role is ideal for doctors looking to diversify their medical practice. Our client is seeking a doctor who is either VR or on a VR pathway in another clinic. The role involves:
- Working independently without supervision.
- Providing face-to-face consultations (not telehealth) with patients referred by other GPs.
- Managing initial and follow-up consultations with high ethical standards and a no-tolerance policy for drug seekers.
- Competitive billing rates: Initial consults at $200 and follow-ups at $85, with an average billing of $500 to $600 per hour.
- 6-month guarantee of $160 and a generous 70% billing percentage.
- Comprehensive training in medicinal cannabis, including the authorisation process and in-clinic mentoring by experienced prescribers.
- A chance to be part of a growing field with increasing patient demand.
- Registration with AHPRA.
- Eligibility to work in a DPA location.
- Willingness to undergo training for medicinal cannabis prescribing (if not already an Authorised Prescriber).
- Ability to work a couple of sessions per week, with potential to increase as demand grows.
