The Geographic Information Systems Unit (GIS) maintains and configures the Intra-Maps system for Council. The unit also provides spatial analysis and map products to council and advises council on spatial technology.
Council is looking for someone who is passionate about GIS and willing to learn and grow. The successful candidate must have technical aptitude and will have exposure and basic training with regards to the afore mentioned. They will also play a role in ensuring the support and maintenance of Council’s GIS.
The role is two days per week, one on site (nominally Kyneton) and one working from home. There is flexibility to arrange the work days and location to suit the needs of the successful candidate provided that the requirements of the position are met.
