Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.About the Role:WorkPac are seeking a GIS Analyst to join the high performing team with our leading mining client. This role is a 5:2 roster, 8 hours per day for an initial 6 month duration.Responsibilities and Duties:Capturing, processing, storing and analysing vector and raster data.Improving the efficiency of data processing.Problem solving and data interrogation.Liaising with customers to achieve value adding outcomes.Skills & Experience Required:2+ years??? experience in a similar role.Tertiary-level qualifications in GIS or related discipline.Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro software.Experience with ETCL software (FME).Proactive approach to problem solving skillsExposure to mining and exploration.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.Flexible and adaptive approach to fluctuating workloads, priorities and supporting other team members.About WorkPac:WorkPac is Australia's largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
