2x ongoing roles available - work location negotiableAn exciting and unique opportunity exists for talented and passionate individuals to join the new Advancing Traditional Owner Rights Branch as Senior Engagement Officer, Advancing Traditional Owner Rights (Multiple Roles) to contribute to the ground-breaking work in the areas of truth, treaty, self-determination and cultural rights.The responsibilities of the Advancing Traditional Owner Rights branch include leading redress and self-determination policy development, ensuring alignment between the Traditional Owner Settlement Act 2010 (Vic) and future Interim Treaty offers as well as undertaking shadow policy work on whole of Victorian Government programs and reforms impacting Traditional Owners.As Senior Engagement Officer, Advancing Traditional Owner Rights (Multiple Roles), you will build and maintain strong and productive relationships with formally recognised Traditional Owner Corporations as the primary point of contact for policy, operation and funding matters. You will also liaise and coordinate with other departments and regional entities to manage engagement pressure on Traditional Owner Corporations and ensure alignment with Traditional Owner rights and interests and Treaty outcomes.About youAs our ideal candidate, you will have:
