Your new role
We have an outstanding opportunity for a Geology Technician. Reporting to the Senior Geology Technician, this role will see you provide logistic and administrative support to the geology team and contribute to the successful completion of the surface and underground drilling programs through accurate processing of drill core.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications Skills and Competencies;
Ability to undertake accurate core processing activities
Accurately conduct sampling methodology.
Undertake and participate in Task Hazard Analysis to manage hazards
Understanding of drill core processing, sampling activities and photogrammetry
Australian manual Class (car) driver's licence
Forklift licence (Preferred)
Some of your key responsibilities will include;
Competent in all core processing activities as directed by the Senior Technician
Maintain plant and equipment in good working order
Assist geologists underground where necessary
What you'll get in return
