About the role:
The position is responsible for the management, capture and maintenance of cadastral, spatial Assets and Infrastructure data held within Geographic Information System. The role provides specialist advice on data analysis, processes and products utilising Geospatial systems, databases and other resources to support effective decision making and to ensure corporate and external needs for spatial information are met.

We are seeking:
- Degree qualification in GIS or a related discipline and/or significant industry experience.
- Extensive experience in manipulating and analysing complex spatial data and producing high quality output products
- Familiarisation with ADAC standard and understanding of ADAC schema and xml production.
- Demonstrated experience in management of geospatial projects.

This position is based in Murwillumbah, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
