We’re looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our successful and growing Sydney Region team, with a role based in Sydney.
The position will be involved with all matters relating to Geotechnical Engineering for our projects including but not limited to: analysing geotechnical reports, foundation, pile design, shoring walls, and various Geotechnical Engineering tasks.
The Role
- Coordination and oversight of site inspection / testing / monitoring services for construction sites for a range of residential and commercial projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, architects, and construction professionals, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform field inspections and monitor construction sites to ensure adherence to geotechnical design specifications.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and documentation for clients, regulatory authorities, and internal use.
- Have a keen eye for detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
The Candidate
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering, with a focus on residential and commercial projects.
- Experience with fieldwork, site investigations, and construction site monitoring.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong understanding of Geotech Engineering principles, practices, and design standards.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with a willingness to take on challenges and seek continuous improvement.
- Must have current drivers licence and own vehicle.
