The purpose of this position is to provide specialist general medicine and geriatric medicine services within Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services (GARS), as well as promote and lead the delivery of holistic health care for older people.

The Hospital
This is Australia's second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.
The Requirements

- Your full specialist training in the UK, USA, Canada or Ireland
- Have had your specialist training assessed by the RACP and have been found to be 'substantially comparable'.
