Job description

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Plan International Australia as our Giving Manager, Cash and Gifts in Wills. The role looks after a range of cash giving initiatives including our annual and emergency appeals, Giving Day and mid value donors as well as our Gifts in Wills programme. The role will lead a small team to achieve ambitious plans to grow both our Cash and Gifts in Wills, portfolio through optimising existing channels and products whilst trialling new and innovative growth opportunities. Reporting to the Associate Director; Giving, this role will steer the overarching strategy for Cash and Gifts in Wills and optimise our return on investment. We’re looking for a creative and driven leader who has a strong understanding of both Direct Marketing and Stewardship programmes.

Who are we?

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion, and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters, and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national, and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 85 years and are now active in more than 80 countries.
